The next big thing
Even bigger and better than the last one. Don't believe me? that's on you. Metrics such as size and quality of an event are dependent on the number of attendees and more importantly the vibes they bring. So it's on you to create the hype and bring as many nice friends as you can. Sure it's my event but I'm sharing it with you and am kinda counting on you to help make this thing happen - you owe this to yourself, not to me. I haven't thought about things like what this event is about, other than bringing a critical lens to "events" as an abstract concept, and am kinda counting on people showing up to help realise it as a legitimate, true "event". If it only becomes an event when enough decent-ish people show up then what is it at the moment? A plan? an idea? this thing could totally fall through leaving me broke and embarrassed. The event has to create itself. Through psychosocial feedback loops and shared thought-forms, we have to make the intangible tangy. Squeeze the citrus of life and make Tango. Or are we the ones who are being squeezed by fruity forces beyond human comprehension? Come to this event and find out for yourself! Now you're interested, aren't you?
